Really keen to see more of this. Besides Fallout 4 this was my favourite game from the conferences so far.

I really like the concept, I hope the gameplay holds up! Seriously. Dinosaurs. Robot Dinosaurs. fitters writes..

Seriously. Dinosaurs. Robot Dinosaurs. Indeed! Really cool. Giving me Dino Riders vibes. XDLove how bows are all the rage now (games, movies, TV series). They're so much fun to use. This is my pick of the conference. Squeenix's JC3 and Mad Max on show but this game especially as its a complete surprise is the winner I reckon.

I love the look of this i just want to know more about the story line as i am still a bit confused with robot dinosaurs and cavemen : PThis looked very interesting. One to definitely keep an eye out for. Would love to have a co- op game trying to take down that big beast.

At one stage I was cheering for her to jump onto the tail and run up his back ala Legolas from LOTRReminds me of that B. C. game that got canceled back in the original Xbox days. Looks really interesting.

This setting combined with day- night weather cycles is going to be gorgeous. Here's an interview with Hermen Hulst.. Xf. E_WJu. 8_Bc. Gotta hunt them machines for food : PPsy. Ed writes.. Gameplay looks like MGS + Witcher 3 mixed..

They've recently hired a few of the key people who worked on the Witcher 3 so bodes well. Game looks great, shame its not on PC as well, definitely a tempter to grab a PS4 for though. Best new IP from E3. Coming from an XBO owner. Dinobots let's roll err. Cavemen let's hunt. It'll be awesome either way Lots of great games Umm cave.

Woman * heh ~Osir. They've recently hired a few of the key people who worked on the Witcher 3 so bodes well. I read that today, given the quests I'm currently playing in The Witcher 3, that is great news for this game! Makes me curious why those robots were built in the first place and what those green tubey ones are harvesting that the girl wants for herself.- No MP confirmed by Herman Hulst on Gamespot stage show.- it's currently pre- alpha footage we're seeing..

Awesome. Single player would suit that better anyway IMO. Probably one of the games of the show for me.

Had a real great feel to it and looked very polished. Always looking out for something I haven't seen before at these shows and this was one of them, recore also looked interesting. O. P. Jonesy. 77. Yep, an open- world action RPG"Seamless" open- world with large arenas like in the demo was how GG described it. You hunt smaller animals for resources to build up and take on the larger ones. Crafting is a key component.

The demo highlighted combat but there is a story which wraps the whole game and there are a lot of quests. What they showed was only the tip (or foot as they put it) of the iceberg.

Over. Temperature writes.."Seamless" open- world with large arenas like in the demo was how GG described it. Well what I posted were the exact words used by Hermen Hulst in an interview about the style of game it was. If that's wrong blame him.

O. P. Weigy! writes.. I love the look of this i just want to know more about the story line as i am still a bit confused with robot dinosaurs and cavemen : P1. Humans are no longer the dominant species, and live together in small tribes or larger "towns". From the trailer they mention that even the characters are not sure how the mech animals came about, and they have passed on stories over generations, using cave paintings etc. Jonesy. 77. 7 writes..- No MP confirmed by Herman Hulst on Gamespot stage show. Awesome, instant purchase then!

So many games catering for MOBA, F2. P, co- op, and every other bullcrap where you just don't lose yourself in a great game. Probably the most impressive new IP of the show for me, looked mighty impressive and had an interest setting, also excited by it being open world. Think Guerrilla could be onto a winner here!

Over. Temperature writes.. I find that part a bit dumb. Whatever cataclysmic event that happened, and even if we lost all our books, we should still be able to pass on the stories in words, not some vague cave paintings. Personally, I'd be filling those cave walls with paragraphs, not pictionary.

P_T writes.. we should still be able to pass on the stories in words, not some vague cave paintings. Hmm you're assuming that people in this distant future still have the ability to read and write. Think about what happens during war or a possibly cataclysmic catastrophe.

Schooling (and the skills that go along with it) are the first to get left behind. It actually makes sense that peoples in this game (I'm guess hundreds if not thousands of years into the future?) have lost the ability to read and write. Over. Temperature writes.. Horizon Zero Dawn announced for PS4. This looks pretty good, also robot dinosaurs! O. P. Jaxar writes.. Hmm you're assuming that people in this distant future still have the ability to read and write.

Not to mention that a lot of people live in very small tribes/clans who probably moved around a lot over the 1. Chinese whispers would then twist the story.

Perhaps part of the game is realising what actually happened by piecing it back together through discovery. Looked amazing to me. Came out of nowhere too : )Jaxar writes..

Hmm you're assuming that people in this distant future still have the ability to read and write. Despite all the great wars throughout our thousands of years of history, people have been finding scrolls and other records of the events.

Heard about the old mine shafts in France where people find writings and names of people hiding from Nazi? They didn't draw pretty pictures on the walls back then. P_T writes.. Despite all the great wars throughout our thousands of years of history, people have been finding scrolls and other records of the events.

The earth has never experienced an apocalyptic scenario though, which I'm assuming happens (or at least happened) in this game. Heard about the old mine shafts in France where people find writings and names of people hiding from Nazi?

You're talking a span of decades there. No, civilisation didn't forget how to read and write between 1. This game (again I'm just assuming) is spanning many centuries.

People surviving a war or cataclysmic event are NOT going to think about whether people 1. All they care about is leave a record. Even the Sumerians from 3. BC already stopped using cave paintings and started using carved writings on stone tablets. So did the ancient Egyptians.

Somehow the survivors from this event forgot how to write and resorted to cave paintings? I find that hard to swallow tbh. P_T writes.. All they care about is leave a record. Hah we'll have to agree to disagree. We've never had cataclysmic event so we can't say for sure, but I think basic survival would be the priority for anyone left standing, not record keeping.
