E Broadway, Bloomington, MN - Phone Number. E Broadway. Bloomington, MN5. This place is Freaking HUGE... We came here this summer with our Daughter and few her college friends for a summer trip.

There are so many stores from food, games, clothing pretty much everything under the sun, we had so much fun walking around window shopping on the 1st day then 2nd and 3rd day we had fun going back to the stores we really wanted to get items from. It is hard to believe there is a amusement park inside the mall but Yep there is a good size one Nickelodeon land, while my daughter and her friends played in that my husband I played Pokemon Go. We all had such amazing time and look forward to going back someday. I think best store for me was the Lindt Chocolate store, my husband bought me a bag of 1. I had so much fun filling the bag with all my favorite flavors and some new ones too. What's day for me. I enjoyed my 8 hours with rides, Aqua, shopping, food and cocktail.

All I say to stay away from Cowboy's Jack. That's all. I will miss you and will come back. Thank you MOA!!! Your Mecca for American consumerism awaits in Bloomington, Minnesota. Ah, the Mo. A.. where to start? I suppose at the beginning. Mo. A is located on the site of the former Metropolitan Stadium, where the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins played until the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome opened in 1.

On December 6th, 1953 Bloomington would finally see its own TV station after seeing other central Illinois communities receive their own crop of stations earlier in.
North America, but it held the crown for decades after it opened in 1. This beast has a gross area of 4,8. Yankee Stadiums - of retail space loaded with every store in your city, my city, and everyone's city. It has its own bus station, light rail, and casinos from seemingly everywhere in the midwest seem to run a daily coach line towards this monstrosity. We in LA/OC would probably compare it to SCP but the fact is - you could fit all of South Coast Metro inside the walls of one of Mo. A's wings. That said, I have been to both Edmington and Korea where bigger malls actually exist.. I don't know why.
The biggest "wow" factor the Mo. A has is the amusement park in the middle of it, once titled "Camp Snoopy" although the Peanuts rights were severed long ago. There was once a vibrant night club scene on the top floor but gang activity and public nudity curbed that.
I suppose that kind of behavior stalls sales at The Gap and Abercrombie & Fitch. You could also find trouble at the bus station during these times as Minneapolis and St. Paul gangs tended to congregate at the mall during Minnesota's harsh winters.

The security teams and ownership have largely stopped all of that nonsense and now it is Minnesota's gift to the Midwest by way of retail. There is plenty to do and see every day of the week as well as countless live concerts and other events on weekends. That is if you don't get hopelessly lost first (the parking lots are massive - beware). Although I am not much of a mall rat, MOA would certainly impress anyone who is and with nearly 5 million feet worth of retail it is probably something to make a point to see if your travels take you to the Twin Cities metropolitan area. I mean, it's a mall, but WHAT A MALL! So yes, everything you've heard is true - it's filled with chains, it's like a mall but bigger, it's really just a mall. However, it is a crazy experience just to walk through because although it's a mall, everything is BIGGER, BETTER, MORE IN YOUR FACE.
Just look at things like The Lego Store, which has epic gigantic lego creations filling it's halls, or the Crayola Experience, which is bout $2. Also, there's a goddam amusement park in the middle of it. It's huge, there's free parking, and you can get normal shopping done as well. Look, it's a damn mall, so lower your expectations about the mall- ness of this mall. But seriously, what a mall. When I moved here, I was pretty amazed by how big the mall is. I think I've been there about 5- 6 times now, and I still am finding new stores that the mall has.
It's honestly a great place for exercise too, because you walk so much while you're here. You could literally spend an entire day here, easily. With Nickelodeon Universe, so much shopping, an arcade, tons of restaurants, an aquarium, Crayola world, mini golf, and other random exhibits, don't be surprised to drop a lot of money, really fast. If you're looking for specific shops in the mall, check out the little kiosks near the large department stores. I'm sure they have something you're looking for. Oh I can't wait to visit here on Black Friday; it's going to be mad chaos. The Mall of America is huge, and there's a lot of stuff, but not all of it is great.
There are four floors and there are many stores, like so many. It's pretty crowded during the day. They have digital maps that point out where you are and where you're going which is really nice, because the layout is quite confusing. The stores have a good variety of products, and here are a lot of high end brands. The food options are disappointing for such a big mall, especially for nicer fair. The bathrooms are also a little run down. A lot of people come for the amusement park section, which is very kid friendly.
I would say it's mostly for kids though. The rides especially are designed for smaller children, so if you have 'em definitely bring 'em with. The Escape Room is the best part of the mall for me, it's open pretty late, the staff is amazing, and the rooms are set up so well.
Definitely worth the money. Otherwise, the mall's claim to fame of being the largest is the most special thing about it. The hype is real. Mall of America may be the biggest mall of America but to call it the "greatest" mall in the world is subjective. Honestly dumbfounded about where they manage to find enough workers to fill all 5.
You can easily spend your whole day away in here if you aren't mindful of time. I would advise allocating your time accordingly depending on the type of shopper you are. Although I scan through stores fairly quickly, it still took me a little under 5 hours to navigate in and out of all the attractions. There is a Nickelodeon theme park in the middle of the mall which attracted a village of wild savage kids everywhere. I guess it's a hot ticket item for practically every summer camp in Minnesota since there isn't an entrance fee. Here is the breakdown of our time. Shake shack is incredible).
Not much of a mall guy. Amazon makes life simple and convenient for me but doing a little cardio can never be a bad thing right? Dedicated shops for flip- flops, Doc martens, and yes, Crocs. Do they sell socks, lol). So basically every store you can think of, PLUS an Amusement Park inside with multiple roller coasters and a ferris wheel. What else could you want in a mall?
So many stores and so many things to see, this place is great for all ages. Not like your typical mall, this place has an inside amusement park! I was in awe when I first noticed the carousel as I walked in. Most malls have a carousel but it's when you realize the huge amusement park with rides for both kids and adults. What an experience it was to come here.
Though I came to MN for work, I knew I had to check out the Mall of America. If you're in MN, you should definitely check it out.
The mall is huge in general where your legs will eventually tire out from all the walking. So many stores to visit with 4- 5 floors of shops and entertainment. What a treat it was visiting this place. It wasn't really crowded when I came but I'm sure it gets crowded during the holidays and weekends.
Um, there is an amusement park in this gigantic mall. In fact, it's in the center of the entire shopping centre, which is perfect because when you get lost - you just always need to make your way back to where the roller coasters are, to gain back some sanity while walking around here! Trust me, you will get lost if you're visiting for the first time. While in Minneapolis, I decided to spend my last day here, just to see what those Mighty Ducks were all about.
